My dorm room in 1 and 2 point perspectives

Our homework was to draw our dorm room in one-point and two-point perspectives.  I really enjoyed drawing them as I was just figuring out how these perspectives worked on my own without help this time.  I am very proud of how they turned out as I have no prior experience with this.

1 point and 2 point perspectives

In class we had to draw our desk in one-point and two-point perspectives.  I had a much harder time drawing the two-point than the one-point, so Nadia came over to help me figure out what I was doing wrong so I could fix it.

Precedents for P,E, and B

I found these concrete structures in the courtyard of the McIver building outside of the video store.  I thought they were interesting and could give us some inspiration.
The glass bottles in the concrete wall is very cool looking and I showed my group this picture and everyone thought putting glass in the concrete was a great idea so it will be interesting to see how our project will turn out if we end up using glass.

More Drafting

This is a cross-section of the Woodland chapel.  It was the most difficult one of all the drafting we had to do because there were several lines and a few odd angles.  The poche of the drawing was my favorite because it made the chapel stand out more and help you understand more of what it looks like.  There is also lettering in the top left-hand corner.

Grind Wall

Here is a technique using a grinder to make chips in the concrete to create an interesting texture and make it look interesting.  I had my boyfriend take these pictures at my dad's job site where they were making a retaining wall with this grinding technique.  I thought maybe this could be an idea to take in consideration when making our concrete.
