A Place for a Leaf

I am really pleased and happy with the way my leaf project turned out!  I first had come up with putting the leaf inside of a curled flower bud looking thing since the leaf first reminded me of waves.  I figured that there was too many curls in the paper taking away from the leaf so I decided to simplify.  I wrapped the paper around the leaf to make it hold it the two notches in the leaf.  The curls and the texture and rips in the paper relate to the characteristics of the leaf.

This project could only be made of paper and the paper has the characteristics of the leaf:  paper texture, the rips in the paper, and the curls.
